The Kokonut Koalition, is a community based advocacy group calling for maintenance and repairs to the Koko Crater Stairs.

We have started a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising $10,000.

Funds raised would be used to conduct temporary repairs to the trail in coordination with the City and County of Honolulu and for startup expenses to establish the group as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our long term goal is to completely rehabilitate the trail.

Donate to the Kokonut Koalition Go Fund Me account or https://www.gofundme.com/get-the-stairs-fixed.

Follow the progress and join the Kokonut Koalition effort to help save this trail at the Kokonut Koalition Facebook group.

The Kokonut Koalition works to preserve, protect, and enhance the community's access to iconic Hawaii trails and landscapes for current and future generations. We work to educate the public and public agencies on past and current uses of such sites to allow continued respectful use of these public outdoor recreation opportunities.
